Learning the Russian alphabet is easier than what you think! Learn the alphabet first then continue learning Russian language.
My suggestion is the read the Russian alphabet for a few days and try and find the correct pronunciation for the letter. Once that come naturally then try and memorise the letters that you could not remember. It will not take long before the alphabet will be familiar to you, then you move on to learn words.
